Screen Capture Software

There are times on the Internet when you may find an image that has been right click protected. This means that if you try to right click with your mouse, no menu will come up. For most images, when you do this, you are able to save that image to your computer hard drive. However, there are some images in which people want to protect. If you come upon an image that you want to have, but you find that it is right click protected, there are still ways you can get that image.

On some computers, you can simply use your print screen button. I do not know exactly how this works, as I have had strange keyboards in the past. My husband decided to get me a keyboard that had a lot of bells and whistles. This was great because there were a lot of shortcuts on it, but also rendered my print screen button useless. When I try to use it to save an image from the Internet it would do something completely different. So for the longest time I had to use screen capture software. You may never have heard of this, but it does exactly what you might think. The screen capture software will indeed capture any image on your computer screen.

Now that I have a laptop computer I think my print screen button will do what it is supposed to do. This means I no longer have a need for screen capture software. Quite honestly, even when I had the screen capture software on my computer I never really used it that much anyway. On a rare occasion I would find a picture that I just had to have, but for the most part if someone had a picture protected I would respect that and leave it alone. You should remember that if someone has a picture protected there is a very good reason for this. Even if you use screen capture software to save that picture in your computer you should never share or anyone else out of respect for the photographer.

If you want to get screen capture software for your computer, it may be as simple as buying in the store. You may also look online to find the software, and you may even find a free version. For the most part, you will have to pay if you want to buy screen capture software. There are some that will come with a free trial, and this might be a great idea. It will allow you to try out the software before you buy it, and through the trial you will decide if it is something worth having or not.
